To open the HelpWire Client app settings, the client should click the “Settings” icon at the top right of their app window.

Through the app’s settings, the client can enable the preferred sleep mode option, restart the app as the administrator, or change the language for their app’s interface.

The sleep mode options available to the client are:

  • – Always allow automatic sleeping for the client’s computer (enabled by default);
  • – Prevent automatic sleeping when the HelpWire Client app is open; 
  • – Prevent automatic sleeping if remote access or unattended remote access to the client’s computer is granted to the supporting Operator(s). 
  • – Prevent automatic sleeping when the supporting Operator is connected remotely to the client’s computer.

The HelpWire Client app interface is currently localized in the English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese languages. 

To change the interface language, the client should click the Change language option in the Settings and choose the required language. Once the new language is chosen, the client will be prompted to restart their app to apply changes.
